                                         Services provided throughout south central Pa.

    Spay Neuter Certificate Program: certificates for low-cost surgeries at local participating vets
    purchased via the organization’s web site. Certificates, which cover surgery and some related services
    only, are $90 for a female dog and $64 for a male dog. Upon receipt of on-line order and payment,
    Friends of Animals will process the order and mail certificate within seven business days. Call 1-800-

    Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic:  provides low cost spay and neuter services only for residents of
    Lancaster County. All dogs must have proof of a current rabies vaccination before scheduling. Male less
    than 80 pounds: $55, Male 80 pounds and over: $70; Female up to 35 pounds: $70, Female 36–75
    pounds: $90, Female 76–100 pounds: $105, and Female 101 pounds and up: $130.

    Owned Pit Bull Dogs Voucher Program:  Contracted municipalities provide vouchers for free surgery.
    Check first with your local government to see if these vouchers are available. If your municipality is not
    contracted with the HSHA, you can use the general surgery clinic option. If you have received a voucher
    for a free surgery from a contracted municipality, call the HSHA at 717-564-3320, Option 2. You will
    need to present the voucher and a legal photo ID at the time of the surgery.

    Dog Spay/Neuter Clinic: Surgeries for dogs (no older than 7 years of age) are available for $70 for
    neuters and $85 for spays.  Proof of vaccinations (rabies and distemper combination) must be provided
    or dogs will receive vaccines for an additional $10 each.  The HSHA strongly recommends dogs receive
    a bordatella vaccine PRIOR to coming to the clinic; this vaccine also can be provided for an additional

    Reduced Fee Voucher Program:  voucher-based program with participating vets in seven south central
    Pa. counties for discounted surgery and vaccinations only. Prices vary depending on veterinarian and

    voucher and list of participating veterinarians.

    Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Service: organization transports animals every Tuesday to veterinarian in
    Jonestown for spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and other services. Handling fee of $10.

                                         Services provided throughout south central Pa.

    Coupon Program:  Numerous local veterinarians participate in this low-cost program by honoring the
    following rates for surgery ONLY:  Male Dogs - (up to 80 lbs.) $55, Female Dogs - (up to 80 lbs.) $65,
    All Dogs over 80 lbs. - Fee varies by veterinary practice. Please go to the SNAP web site to view the
    current list of veterinary partners. Also note that additional charges may occur due to mandatory
    services, such as office visit, at published rates and that other charges may occur due to surgical
    complications, pregnant or in-heat females, or additional services you request. Call 717-732-5377 or

                                         Services provided at various locations in York area, Pa.

    Low-Cost Spay Neuter Program:  a program for spaying and neutering owned dogs at the shelter’s
    facility in Emigsville and at participating veterinarians in the York area. Charges vary depending on
    gender and size of dog and surgery service location. Other services including tests and vaccines are
